War: Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's actioner becomes first film to be shot in Arctic Circle

For the longest time movie buffs were waiting to see Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff collaborate for a film.
A high-octane car chasing sequence, featuring Hrithik and Tiger, has been shot in Finland.Talking about the same, director Siddharth Anand revealed that War is the first film to havebeen shot in the Arctic. "We were very clear from the start that we want to give Indianaudiences action that they have never seen before. Our film has a huge car sequence thatsees Hrithik and Tiger perform an adrenaline pumping action stunt that has been entirely shoton ice. We shot this in Finland which is in the Arctic circle and we were informed by ourproduction team that we were the first ever film in the world to shoot an action sequence of thisscale in the Arctic," said Anand.Hrithik and Tiger have pushed themselves from the word go for our film to pull off some deathdefyingstunts. This sequence was incredibly risky but visually so stunning that we went for it,"added the filmmaker.Action director Paul Jennings, who has worked in big Hollywood action spectacles like TheDark Knight starring Christian Bale, San Andreas starring Dwayne Johnson, Jack Reacherstarring Tom Cruise, Game of Thrones among others, has designed this jaw-droppingsequence on ice.Touted to be the biggest action entertainer of 2019, War will see Hrithik Roshan and TigerShroff pitted against each other for the first time.Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor. War is set to hit the screens inHindi, Tamil, and Telugu on October 2.
