Bhoomi Pednekar has come a long way in the film industry, starting her career from Dum Laga Ke Haisha opposite Ayushmann Khuranna.The actress has several movies coming up under her belts such as Saand Ki Aankh, Bala, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Bhoot-The Haunted Ship and Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. The actress will be next seen in Saand Ki Aankh opposite Taapee Pannu wherein she will be playing the role of an aged sharpshooter from Haryana, and the movie is slated to hit the silver screens on 25th October 2019. In spite of her busy schedule, the actress found time to attend the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.
Her most recent film, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare featuring Konkana Sen Sharma, was premiered at the 24th release of Busan International Film Festival edition. Bhumi was so amped up for this that the Dum Laga Ke Haisha actress even shared the news about the same on her Instagram account. Bhumi emerged victorious as she received the Face of Asia award which was presented to her by a Korean film and fashion magazine.
After bagging the award, the actress revealed to Mid Day, "I am humbled that my work has resonated with audiences and critics in Busan. It's my first international win, so I am proud. I have aspired to act in films that have something important to say, and have worked sincerely to deliver convincing performances. I hope to be part of cinema that will be remembered fondly in future."
