'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' of Ajay Devgn is in legal trouble
The trailer of the movie, 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' was released a few days back and the movie managed to get both positive and negative response from the audience the movie stars Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, and Sharad Kelkar and is directed by Om Raut. The Movie is produced by Ajay Devgn, Krishan Kumar, and Bhushan Kumar. The movie features Ajay Devgn as Tanaji Malusare the film portrays the heroic character of Maratha commander Tanaji Malusare and his through the battle of Sinhagad in 1670 AD alongside Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj. The movie has courted a recent controversy after Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Jitendra Awhad claimed that the makers have few inaccurate facts in the film. He warned that if these differences were not addressed, then he would personally have to get involved. The MLA accused director Om Raut of taking his cinematic liberty too far and he has also suggested some changes. He also added that if the changes were not implemented he would take a "personal interest" in the matter and he would not mind even if the makers took his statement as a threat. The makers of the film are yet to respond to the MLA’s statement. 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' is a 3D movie, and is set to release on 10 January 2020.
