War and Joker continues to dominate the ticket windows

Despite the critically acclaimed reviews on its opening day, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar starrer The Sky is Pink had a slow start in the box office. As per the media reports, the film has merely minted 2.50 crores on the opening day, while Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War and Hollywood’s Joker continued to dominate the ticket windows. The performance is much lower than PeeCee’s last Bollywood film, Jai Gangaajal in the year 2016.

Helmed by director Shonali Bose, The Sky Is Pink is based on the real life story of Aisha Chaudhary. Aisha was a motivational speaker, who lost her life at a young age due to pulmonary fibrosis. The film also stars Dangal fame Zaira Wasim, in the role of Aisha, who narrates to love story of her parents.
