Suniel Shetty to make Hollywood debut as an Indian cop

Actor Suniel Shetty has started shooting for Hollywood film titled Call Centre in Hyderabad

Actor Suniel Shetty might have been absent from the silver screen for a while, but the Balwaan actor has quietly started shooting for his Hollywood debut film, titled Call Centre, directed by American-Chinese filmmaker Jeffery Chin.

Call Centre is reportedly inspired by a real-life incident of an Indian cop, who took down a multimillion-dollar call centre scam. The actor, who stars in the English film as a Sikh Officer has started shooting for his part towards the end of September, and is hoping to wrap up his portion by the year end. The 58-year old actor has a lot of chasing sequences in the film, which will be shot in Hyderabad.

Talking about the film, a source said, “The premise revolves around four guys who worked at a call centre in India and robbed a US-based company of $381 million. While American agencies were involved in the investigation, it was the Indian police that cracked the case.”
