After Darr and Baazigar, SRK to turn badass again

After the critical and commercial failure of Aanand L. Rai’s Zero, actor Shah Rukh Khan has been enjoying a short break from the silver screen to spend some time with his family. However, the latest reports reveal that the Baadshah of Bollywood will make a major comeback as an antagonist, in the Hindi remake of Hollywood’s iconic action film, Kill Bill.

Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill which starred Uma Thurman is a classic Hollywood action franchise. Producer Nikhil Dwivedi has acquired the rights for his remake long time back and is currently in talks with the King Khan about his role. Helmed by Anurag Kashyap, the project is would be homage to Kill Bill.

Talking about the film, the source said "Nikhil bought the remake rights earlier this year, and now, he is in the process of giving shape to the project. There has been talk about Shah Rukh stepping into the role of the antagonist, Bill. This is one of the many films that the actor is considering for his next as he is keen on working with Kashyap. However, the discussions are at the nascent stage. The team has yet to zero in on the leading lady who will breathe life into Thurman's part."
