Sanjay Dutt gives thumbs up for Khalnayak 2

Is Tiger Shroff the new Khalnayak of Bollywood?

Sanjay Dutt has finally confirmed that he has already started the groundwork for the sequel of Subhash Ghai’s 1993 blockbuster Khalnayak.  The original film starred Sanjay Dutt as the badass criminal Ballu, and Jackie Shroff as the righteous police officer Ram, whose love interest was Madhuri Dixit as Ganga.  As per the reports, The Munnabhai Bhai actor will make a comeback as Ballu who comes across the son of Ram and Ganga's son. Sanjay Dutt’s production house has already approached Jackie Shroff’s son, Tiger Shroff to star in the film.

Sanjay Dutt is currently busy promoting his latest release, Prassthanam in Dubai. The team is yet to acquire the original rights of the film, from director Subhas Ghai. Tiger Shroff, on the other hand, was last seen in Student of the Year 2, sharing screen space with Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. His upcoming releases include War co-starring Hrithik Roshan and Baaghi 3 co-starring Shraddha Kapoor.
