According to a source close to the development, Alia not only features in the music video but has also given playback for it. “This is the first time that she is crooning a non-filmy song. Bosco (choreographer-turnedfilmmaker Bosco Martis) has directed Alia,” informed the source, adding that the video was shot at a city studio before the actress flew to Ooty for a film shoot. “The catchy song features Alia dancing with international back-up dancers with car spare parts, bike tyres, an STD booth, photo-frames, radio set-pieces and a guitar, among other things, forming the backdrop.”
On the acting front, after finishing her father, Mahesh Bhatt’s film, Alia will commence work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Inshallah', which features her as a 20-something aspiring actress to Salman Khan’s 40-something Orlando-based businessman. The actress also has Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy, 'Brahmastra' with her beau, Ranbir Kapoor, SS Rajamouli’s multi-lingual period-drama, 'RRR' and Karan Johar’s epic, 'Takht' co-starring Ranveer Singh, which is expected to go on the floors early next year.
