Recently the actor has spilled out his thoughts on whether he would like to return once again as Joker.

In an atmosphere of clowns and Joker, i.e. from IT Chapter 2 to JOKER, the fans are having a great time witnessing some of the best movies, but JOKER all the thanks to the groundbreaking performance by Joaquin Phoenix has stood apart from all the rest with an astonishing IMDb rating of 9.0 beating the summer release Avengers: Endgame which had got 8.6 out of 10 and is ranked 3rd in terms of highest rated movies and at the same time making massive collections worldwide. The Gladiator actor played the vicious role of Arthur Fleck and has garnered praises for his staggering performance, with many touting him to be the front-runner at the Oscars 2020. Now, the actor has spilled out his thoughts on whether he would like to return once again as Joker.

The movie ended with Gotham in flames, Thomas and Martha Wayne dead, and above all, the Joker, aka Arthur Fleck still alive, rumors of a sequel are bound to float around. Talking on Popcorn with Peter Travers, Joaquin was questioned if a sequel is in the making and whether he would be ready to play the character for a second time. It turns out, Joaquin is very much open to the possibility of playing Joker.

Joaquin shared, "I talked to (director) Todd (Phillips) a lot about what else we might be able to do, in general, just working together, but also specifically, if there's something else with Joker that might be interesting." He added, "me and Todd would still be shooting now if we could, right? Because it seemed endless, the possibilities of where we can go with the character."

When inquired if he considers this to be his dream role, the actor stated, "I wouldn't have thought of this as my dream role, but now, honestly, I can't stop thinking about it."
