By Bombay Talkies 07 27, 2019 | 10:05 AM
In a recent reaction, Diljit Dosanjh talked about his films in the industry and his crush on Good News co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Diljit said, "I don't get too many offers for comedies, most of the films thatcome my way are serious dramas. So, when Maddock Films approachedme, I thought this was a completely different character from what I haveplayed so far in Hindi and Punjabi films." He further added, "I don't have agodfather, so I have to choose from the roles offered to me. Also, I havebeen vocal about the fact that I won't do roles that require me to removemy turban. That narrows down my options further. But times are changing. In Good News, my character originally wasn't a Punjabi, but the makersdecided to cast me because they liked my work."Diljit also opened up about working with the one and only diva KareenaKapoor Khan. He said, "It is fun to work with Kareena. She can do thesame scene over and over again without losing her spontaneity. But eventoday, I get nervous while having a conversation with her." Talking aboutGood News, the film also stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani apart fromKareena and Diljit and is being directed by Raj Mehta and is set to hit thetheatres on 27 December, this year.
