Kangana Ranaut seems to have a rough time at the box office, even though she has a host of exciting projects in her pipeline, Panga, Dhaakad and the biopic of Jayalalithaa, Thailavi.
To play the character of the iconic actress and the Tamil Nadu's former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa who served the state from 1991 to 2016, Kangana has been taking Tamil lessons and practicing Bharatnatyam. The producer of the film, Vishnu Indouri had also tweeted that the Queen of Bollywood will sport four different looks in the movie, which will be created by prosthetics expert and makeup artist Jason Collins, at Los Angeles. Collins has worked in several Hollywood projects, including Captain Marvel, Hunger Games and Blade Runner 2049.
Unfortunately, the makers of the film have failed to raise the approx. budget of Rs 55 crores till now, and are planning to hold the project till October end before it goes on the floor.
Thailavi will be released in three languages, Hindi, Tamil and Telegu and might also star AL Vijay and Arvind Swami.
