Dreamgirl actor Ayushmann Khurrana is back in a new avatar, in his upcoming film Subh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The actor will be playing a homosexual character in the movie, whose love interest is Kota Factory fame Jitendra Kumar.
Anand L. Rai’s upcoming film is a sequel of the 2016 hit comedy, Subh Mangal Saavdhan. The story will revolve around a gay love story set under the backdrop of Allahabad, presently known as Prayagraj. The eccentric character introduction in the animated clip caught the attention of the cine-goers on Twitter. The video opens with the comic narration of 'Kaali Gobi match' between 'Pyaar vs. Sanskar,’ and introduces the head of the family, Shankar Tripathi (Gajraj Rao), who passes on the raw vegetable to his wife, Sunaina Tripathi (Neena Gupta) who further passes it to their would-be daughter-in-law Kusum (Pankhuri Awasthy). When it is the turn of Jitendra Kumar aka Aman Tripathi, the lovestruck boy misses the catch as his eyeballs remain glued on Kartik Singh (Ayushmann Khurrana). The other members of the Tripathi family include Manurishi Chaddha, who plays Shankar's younger brother Chaman Tripathi, his wife played by Sunita Rajwar, Maanvi Gagroo who plays the character Goggle Tripathi and Neeraj Singh, who plays Keshav in the film.
Like his previous releases, the Vickey Donor actor is all set to break the stereotypes, with another quirky character. The film is slated to hit the screen on March 13, 2020.
