Ayushmann Khuranna, who has been riding high on the success of Dream Girl, is back again to take the audiences for another hilarious ride. After winning over his audiences with back to back super-hits, the Vicky Doner actor has now turned into a man suffering from premature balding, and his quirky story is sure to make the audience laugh out loud.
Actor Ayushmann Khuranna has garned a lot of fame, for stepping out of his comfort zone and experimenting with characters like a sperm donor, a blind man, a man with erectile dysfunction as well as a man who mimics female voice and takes up the job of a female telecaller. In his upcoming film, he will be essaying the role of a person, suffering from premature balding. The makers have released the trailer of Bala, which Ayushmann shared in his Twitter page and wrote, "Baal kaisa hai janaab ka? Trailer dekho aur batao, kya khayaal hai aapka! #Bala trailer out now!"
The film is revolves around the protagonist Bala, played by Ayushmann Khurrana. Bala was in love with his voluminous hair, before he realized that he was suffering from premature balding. He tries to cope up with the problem by following all the advises that he comes across, to grow back his hair and to win over his love interest, Yami Gautam. Going by the trailer, the film promises a solid comedy with hilarious punch lines. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar as a dusky girl.
Talking about his upcoming film, Ayushmann had stated, "We have made films on various topics and issues, this one is one of the most topical and relatable as men across the country, maybe even the world, are grappling with it. Thankfully, I'm blessed with good hair but many of my friends who are in their early 30s, are complaining of a receding or thinning hairline. So, I'm aware that though we are dealing with the subject in a light-hearted manner, it is a serious issue."
Bala is directed by Amar Kaushik, and is slated for theatrical release on November 7, 2019.
