Akshay Kumar on 'Mission Mangal' clashing with 'Saaho' and 'Batla House': We should not blame anybody

Akshay Kumar is all set to hit the screens again with his second film of the year, 'Mission Mangal' which picturizes the story of India's ambitious Mars mission 'Mangalyaan'.
Speaking about the same at the trailer launch event, Akshay Kumardismissed the box office clash as a normal event. The actor said, "In a year,more than 180 Hindi films release and then there are about 30 to 40Hollywood films as well so there would be a lot of congestion. In the future,there will be more problems as maybe at that time four to five films mayclash at the same time."The actor further said, "There is no element of surprise in this and weshould not blame anybody or blame each other and just go along with it."Helmed by Jagan Shakti, 'Mission Mangal' is touted as India's first spacefilm, which follows scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation whocontributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission. The trailer of the film gives aninsight into the challenges the scientists faced to put the name of India as aspace power.The film stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu,Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi and Nithya Menon in the lead roles. The film willhit the screen on August 15, 2019
